Opinion
I played through the main story of the game, which took me around 25 hours. The tory is interesting, and provides the same setup as Freelancer, featuring a myth, followed by a fight against some powerful enemy fraction.
Site missions have some influence on the main story, which gives a feeling, that your actions have some impact on the world.
The fights are more dynamic than within Freelancer, but come with their own charm. The hud, is pretty good, and it runs like a charm on the Steam Deck.
In comparison to Freelancer the game is a little more mission driven, missing the trading feature.
Definitely a recommendation for all Freelancer fans, especially if you own a Steam Deck.
